Summer is a great time to get some DIY projects done around your home. One project that I recently tackled was removing the baseboard trim at the columns of my pavilion to replace the preexisting rotting wood.  I chose the Zenith by Danco Trim Puller on Amazon to get the job done, quick and easy.

The Zenith by Danco Trim Puller is a unique tool that is designed to remove baseboard trim without damaging the wall or trim. It has a large, wide contact area that is used to sneak between the trim and the wall and effortlessly pry it off.  The Trim Puller also has a shock-absorbing handle that makes it easy to grip and comfortably and confidently control the strength of the tool.

To remove the baseboard trim, I simply placed the Trim Puller between the column and the trim, prying it away. I worked my way around the face of each column, prying off each piece of trim, one at a time. The Zenith by Danco Trim Puller worked great and I was able to remove the trim without damaging the column, the trim or myself.

Once the trim was removed, I was able to clean the columns, paint and install the new high quality, durable material. The new trim looks excellent, and the columns are now ready for summertime!
